How to make an email forwarder

The scenario here is, you want to create an email address @yourdomain that simply forwards to another email address not on your domain, and you want to do it without using up a license.

  1. Create a regular conference.

  2. Right-click and select Permissions.

  3. Make sure that the "Do Not Publish In Directory" option is UNchecked, and make "Internet" a Contributor:

  4. Click the Directory button and enter a viable email address as the Alias:

  5. Click the Rules button and create a New Receive Rule. Give it a name and check the Enabled box. Under the "If" section, select "Always." Under the "Then" section, select "Redirect" and enter the offsite email address you want to forward to.

Now, any emails sent to that alias will be forwarded to the address you specified.
